Message: Jesse Young worked an employment case for me that ended with almost 700 people getting thier unpaid wages back.. This guy and his team are incredible. From the first communication to the last, Jesse and his team never missed a single beat. Consistent and clear communication, quickly replying to my communication, and always made me feel like my case was at the top of their list.. After finding our my employer had been adjusting employees time cards to give them less hours paid then what was actually earned I decided to seek legal counsel. Jesse not only won the case, but he relesntlessly presued these people and showed absolutely no mercy. What started with myself and 2 other people turned into class action with everyone getting thier money back.. The company that has been doing business for over 60 years sold out after we won the case and will never take advantage of another person again! Thanks again, Jesse.

Message: We retained the services of Sommers & Swartz to assist us with a Medical Malpractice lawsuit. We were assigned Matt Turner & Dina Zalewski. Our case was extremely complicated & along with the Covid backlog, the case took a long time to come to a positive resolution. During this time, Matt & Dina were great communicators. They spent many hours answering questions, calming fears, and educating us to the process. They also spent countless hours preparing for our case behind the scenes. They even uncovered facts that we were previously unaware of. In an arena that was uncomfortable and confusing to us, Matt & Dina were steadfast advocates for us. We would recommend them to anyone who is facing the possibility of a Medical Malpractice lawsuit.

Message: When our world was shattered by an unexpected medical diagnosis, we were referred to Rob Sickels of Sommers Schwartz. What a blessing to get this referral as Rob listened to us with caring and compassion, spent all the time necessary to help us, was always honest with us about our situation and, even at times when we didn’t think we could go any further, he continued to research ways to help us. We would recommend him to anyone needing the type of services their firm offers. WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!

Message: Dina, Rick, and Andy were amazing lawyers. They help me through an incredibly difficult time in my life after losing my son. I wanted answers on why, and they help me through the whole process and they got me answers. After I lost my son I was severely depressed. Every time I met with Dina she gave me more answers that help me grow into the person I am today. My family and I can now rest easy for all the work that Dina, Andy, and Rick has done for us. Dina never lied to us and was very straightforward, I feel like she took me under her wing. Dina got me through something that I thought was going to be incredibly difficult for me to relive. Dina felt like a friend, somebody that I could trust and look to for guidance. I don’t regret choosing this law firm to help me with my case. I would strongly recommend this law firm. Thank you Dina, I don’t think I could’ve done this without you.

Message: In 2019 my husband underwent thoracic surgery to remove a large abscess from his chest. Infection had already spread into his bloodstream and he was in critical condition. After 40 days in the hospital, he was sent home to recover with a wound vac, visiting nurse, and a long, powerful round of intravenous antibiotics. Our hopes of a smooth recovery were dashed when his chest once again festered and swelled with infection. It was soon discovered that a retained wound vac sponge was left inside of his chest causing further infection to his clavicle and rib bone. This negligence resulted in subsequent surgeries in which large pieces of bone were sawed into and removed. My husband was left with chronic pain, the inability to fully use his shoulder/arm, and after a long career as a residential home builder and contractor, was forced to go on disability. After our first meeting with Attorney Matt Curtis, our feelings of frustration, defeat, and helplessness were diminished. Matt’s knowledge of the law concerning medical malpractice and his compassion for my husbands situation gave us the boost we needed to stand up and be heard! I am so grateful that my husband felt validated and energized throughout his time meeting with Mr. Curtis because in February of 2021, he sadly and unexpectedly passed away. At that time, I thought all was lost but Mr. Curtis assured me that we could still move forward. In fact, just recently he was able to negotiate a satisfying settlement with the hospital bringing some sense of closure and Justice to a very difficult time for my family. So if you’re looking for someone to stand by you and fight that fight when you’re at you’re most vulnerable, I highly recommend Mathew Curtis of Sommers Schwartz Law Offices.

Message: I was referred to Matt Curtis by an attorney's office in the city where I live. From the first telephone conversation with Matt and his team I felt confident I didn't need to look any further for an attorney. Matt Curtis was the correct person for the medical malpractice case for my husband's death. My decision was confirmed every step of the way that I had indeed been referred to the best lawyer I could possibly have hoped for. I know for sure he would have had my husband’s stamp of approval. Matt is extremely dedicated to his clients and their best interest. He is down to earth, friendly, compassionate, easy to work with and a fighter for his clients. Whenever I needed to talk to him, he always asked about how I was doing before he got down to business. He saw and treated me as a person and not just a case file. He stayed on top of my case, kept progress moving forward and kept me informed every step of the way. Matt worked diligently to get justice for my husband. He responded to emails and telephone calls in a very timely manner. He was there for me! He is extremely knowledgeable about the law he practices. Venturing into a medical malpractice case was a daunting task. Matt made it manageable. His staff is incredible. They all hold themselves to high standards. Beyond the outstanding knowledge and professionalism, I appreciated his down to earth friendly approach. I always felt like I was talking to a friend rather than an attorney. You want the best? Hire Matt Curtis. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Message: This was my first time going through anything such as a medical lawsuit or even working with an attorney. My oldest son, was born with an "undetected" heart defect resulting in the need of him being"revived" which left him a "stroke survivor". Our case was 11 years in the making with many ups and downs. Our attorney Matthew Curtis never gave up. He was tough very professional and knew his stuff! Our case was very difficult and challenging therefore was very time consuming. Each step of the way Matt explained what was going on, what I could expect and he always kept in contact through emails or phone calls. If I ever had any questions or concerns Matt was just an email or phone call away- he was quick to get back to me too! Matt is sincere, kind and compassionate, he has become more than just our Attorney he is more like family! I highly recommend contacting Matt if you ever find yourself in need of a top-notch Attorney. His kindness, professionalism, wisdom and personal concern is astounding!
